Are there thoughts and behaviours that might be holding you back from being in a better place? Life seems rather short to feel unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. I can help you learn and realise better ways to handle the issues that might be standing in the way of your preferred outcome. I’m happy to help.
Solution-focussed, person-centred approach
Helping change, thinking through
Helping you to reframe, reimagine and realise
I am a qualified professional with a graduate diploma in counselling psychology. I specialise in working with individuals in private practice who would like to make impacting, positive life changes. With a person-centred approach, I firmly believe that each and everyone is the expert of her or his own life. In line with global migration, I facilitate intercultural workshops in a university setting. In addition, I am a network partner of XPotential focussing on managing change and developing personal skills.
From a bi-national family and used to moving house frequently, I have worked and lived in six countries in Asia and Europe. Hence, I am very much aware of the opportunities and challenges an internationally mobile life brings. With eight years spent in the Philippines and Singapore, I have developed an in-depth understanding of Eastern cultural traits. Of Anglo-German descent, I am bilingual in both English and German. Depending on your preference sessions can be held in either language face-to-face or remotely.
To ensure quality assurance, I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP 375121) and a provisional clinical member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC D0242) and adhere to their code of ethics. In addition, I am a trained Certified Mediator as stipulated by the Federal Mediation Act (MediationsG) and hold a certificate in Systemic Coaching. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychotherapy at Leeds Beckett University, England.
Helping children, adolescents and young adults with learning difficulties, lower IQs and autism spectrum disorders is very close to my heart and core of my ongoing voluntary and independent contracted work.
The company is registered and annually audited in Hong Kong. After eight years in South East Asia, Wiesbaden in the centre of the Rhine-Main area of Germany is currently where I practise.
